Using Chat
Query your documented processes, generate reports, and get answers with citations.
The Chat interface provides a natural language layer over all your documented processes, generated SOPs, gap analyses, and uploaded business documents. Think of it as a knowledgeable assistant that has read every document in your project and can answer questions with citations to the source material.
Querying Your Knowledge Base

Click Chat in the left sidebar and start a New Chat.

Select your sources from the Collections panel on the right. You can choose specific collections to focus the AI on relevant documents, or leave it on "Auto-select sources" to let the AI decide.

Ask your question. The AI will search through your documents, reason through the answer, and provide a response with clickable citations that link directly to the source page or section.

Advanced Features
- Web Search — Toggle on to supplement answers with external knowledge (frameworks, best practices, industry standards).
- Deep Research — For complex questions that require reading across many full documents, enable Deep Research. This deploys multiple agents to thoroughly analyze your data (takes 1–5 minutes).
- Download Responses — At the bottom of any chat response, click Download as Document to export as a Word file. Tables can be downloaded as Excel.
- Saved Prompts — Click Agents to access reusable prompt templates for common queries. You can create and share your own.
- Citations — Click any citation in a response to open the source document at the exact relevant page, so you can verify the information and dig deeper.
Tip
Upload any business documents — ERP manuals, compliance policies, training materials, vendor contracts — into collections. This gives Chat full context of your business operations, not just the workflows you have recorded.
